Why was AHA created?
AHA was created in response to the pressing need for renowned African expertise, with a view to :
Community health partnerships
To facilitate commitment and cohesion between community stakeholders, the formal health system, the private sector and the public sector with a view to strengthening access to health care for the most deprived.
Facilitating health financing
To serve as an intermediary between regional, continental, and international institutions and donors with a view to facilitating the financing of innovative initiatives to strengthen health systems in Africa.
